We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (O.j. Local organizers for each country have access to personal data in individual countries participating in the Náboj Physics competition (the “Competition”), to the extent that the personal data of registrants and registered persons (pupils) exclusively of their country. These personal data are used exclusively for communication with registrants for informing them about the current year of the Competition to ensure a smooth run, sending promotional marketing e-mails to registrants when promoting individual years of the Competition, and also sending information about the results of registered persons (students) to their respective registrant’s persons.
What data are we processing?
- name, surname, email, and phone number (optional) in the case of the registering person (registrant), who can be the teacher or legal representative (parent) of the student
- name, surname, grade, and school of each competitor (registered person – pupil)
- video and/or video-audio recordings made during the Competition
- technical cookies necessary to ensure the proper operation of the website
How do we obtain personal data?
The registrant provides personal data when registering a team of students for the Competition. Video and/or video-audio recordings are made during the Competition.

Who has access to your personal data?
- Contest organizers - each country has its own local organizers, who are students of the university supporting the Competition or volunteers and members of the selected organization (named as “Organizers” on the Contest website), who were entrusted with organizing the Competition in that country. These organizers have access to the personal data of registrants and registered persons to ensure the smooth run of the Competition.
- SendGrid - mass sending of e-mails in the e-mail address range
- MailJet - mass sending of e-mails in the e-mail address range
- Google (e-mails, storage) - data storage, creation of documents (diplomas) for competition winners, creation of prize certificates
- operators of social networks (Facebook, Instagram) - Trojsten has a profile on the social networks Facebook and Instagram, where it publishes information about its activities, including the Competition. Do we transfer your personal data to third countries (outside the EU)?
We do not give out (transfer) personal data provided during registration to third countries outside the EU. They are stored on servers exclusively within the EU. During your interaction on the social networks that Trojsten uses, personal data may be transferred to third countries, primarily within the framework of the use of analytical and statistical services of social network operators on which Trojsten has an established profile.

In the event of an alleged violation of applicable personal data protection legislation, you can file a complaint with the supervisory authority for personal data protection in the country in which you live, or in the country where the alleged breach of personal data protection occurred. In Slovakia, such a body is the Office for the Protection of Personal Data of the Slovak Republic.
The time limit for processing your request when exercising your rights:
We will always try to process the request within 30 days of its delivery. However, due to the number of requests and their complexity, the deadline can be extended by another 2 months. We will inform you about this fact no later than 30 days after the delivery of your request, together with the reason for the extension of the deadline. At the same time, in this case, you are entitled to file a complaint with the supervisory authority.
Requests for the exercise of the rights of the affected person can be delivered electronically, by e-mail to the address gdpr@trojsten.sk or by post to the operator’s address, given at the beginning of this information.
We do not use automated processing or profiling when processing personal data.
